Did you know that the scientific name for the Western Meadowlark, Sturnella neglecta comes from John James Audubon, who thought the bird's beauty and importance had been overlooked by Lewis and Clark? The Meadowlark became the state bird of Montana in 1931.

This Western Meadowlark - Montana State Bird Ornament is made from Black Cherry wood grown and milled in the USA!  The ornament is finished with a non-toxic food-safe oil to enhance and protect the natural beauty of the wood.

Ornament comes tied with a hanging ribbon and bow (also made in the USA).

Approximate dimensions: 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 3/16"

Made in Wisconsin by Nestled Pines Woodworking.

USA grown hardwoods are a renewable, biodegradable and sustainable resource.
