On display at the Smithsonian Institute Museum in Washington, DC, the Spirit of Saint Louis airplane, flown trans-Atlantic by Charles Lindbergh in 1927, is imaged here in an oval, engraved frame commemorating aviation history and advancement.
Detailed to design specifications, this marvelous ornament is engraved "New York - Paris, May 20-21, 1927." Engraving details includes the tail markings CAB registration: N-X-211 and Ryan NYP.
Cut from U.S. grown and milled Black Cherry wood, it comes with a red satin ribbon for displaying anywhere.
