Hopewell Furnace NHS Custom Panoramic Ornament

Approximate Dimensions: 4 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 3/16"

Black Cherry wood.

USA grown hardwoods are a renewable, biodegradable and sustainable resource.

Hopewell Furnace National Historical Site near Elverson, Pennsylvania, ordered this cutout ornament with a design based on a scene of its restored structures and 848 mostly wooded acres.

Cutout designs work well for structural scenery, with engraving adding an extra dimension of depth and texture to the picture.

The Hopewell site exemplifies an American 19th century rural "iron plantation," with the furnace group, ironmaster's house, company store, blacksmith's shop, barn and several worker's houses. Hopewell Furnace was founded by iron master Mark Bird in 1771 and discontinued operations in 1883.

Under the authority of the Historic Sites Act since 1938, it is one of the earliest cultural units of the National Park System.

Amy's' designs are original and created with attention to detail.

Made in Wisconsin. Cutting and engraving are sharp and accurate to design specifications. Each ornament is inspected and packaged by hand. Comes completed with a red satin ribbon.

Solid hardwood, grown and milled in the USA, is finished with non-toxic, food-safe oil that brings out the beauty of the wood and protects for years.
